About Pat.

Pat Wiley is a seasoned songwriter and performer with a “rural, down home” flavor. He flows from guitar to fiddle to clawhammer banjo as he sings his songs and tells his stories, playfully inviting his audience to pull up a chair and give a listen.

Wiley & Wilson

Pat Wiley and John Wilson are a duo that features original and traditional music in an "old time" style. Both Pat and John are multi-instrumentalists (guitar, fiddle, clawhammer banjo, octave mandolin, tenor banjo, fiddlesticks, bones, jaw harp, washboard, spoons), vocalists, dance callers/teachers, and storytellers. Pat is the main songwriter of the two, while John provides buck dancing/clogging and other entertaining elements to the act. Together and apart, they have been making "rural" good music for over 40 years. (original members of the Raiders of the Lost Barn string band 1985-2005).

Pat and John will be joined at times this summer by veteran musician Ty Westbrook on the upright bass and vocals. While starting up the Fox River Fiddle & Dance Club in Appleton Wi, this past spring (which holds monthly old time jams and barn dances) Ty expressed an interest in performing some original and traditional music with the boys, An offer too good to pass up.
